This is what I've recently learnt about, that is, dont worship the skies, the sun and the clouds(most worship videos in youtube show nature pictures in the background and I know I needed a small reminder that>>)...cos they are (only) creations of God. God is beyond that, bigger than that. One more thing, God is with us. With us, with Man. In fellowship with us. Our LORD is right here on earth with us, at our level. Its a nice truth that is understood by my feelings, and not mind alone. Perhaps this is why they say that God's truths have to be grasped in the spirit.
"And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the
moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to
them and serve them, things that the LORD your God has allotted to all the
peoples under the whole heaven."

I used to worship and talk to God while looking at the beautiful skies. I still do sometimes, but I'll remind myself of this truth.
These few days, ok actually yesterday, I learnt a lot in my TAWG - that "cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you." and how to do that. It is to take time to soak in His presence, that my worldly pain and frustrations can be flushed out by focusing on Him. And to present my requests/burdens to Him in prayer and petition, with thanksgiving.
Thank God for the Church services and cell! There are many times when I'll be spiritually charged and encouraged to get back on my feet or seek God more after going for service and cell.
