"The wicked freely strut about when what is vile is honored among men."

Psalm 12:8
"The wicked freely strut about when what is vile is honored among men."

When reading the Bible and reflecting, we don't want unknown words to stop us from getting the meaning of a verse because that verse could very well be what God is trying to speak to us. So whenever we come across an unknown word, we shouldn't try to guess the meaning or brush through that sentence. Instead we should check the dictionary to see what it means! This helped in my Time Alone With God on 7dec when God spoke to me through Psalm 12:8.

::The word "vile" means wicked or nasty::
In other words, wherever we are, we will only feel comfortable when our ways are practised and adored by the people around us.

+ Where are we most comfortable at? Home? Church? School? What is the way of life there? What is our way of life there? Are we following the way of life there? Should we change ours?

+ Where are we least comfortable at? Church? School? Home? What is the way of life there? What is our way of life there? Should we change our ways of life to follow them?
